This week is another one designed to let you get your solutions finished. We’ll be in class on Tuesday reviewing a quick presentation on creativity. In my estimation, creativity is as much a science as it is an art. I’ll point you to the amazing work at Ideo as an example of a group of people who have actually developed a systematic approach to being creative. Really cool stuff … they even have a book that I would ask you to read if this were a graduate class.
The lecture will focus on the notion of being creative, but in a targeted fashion. I want yo to focus energy on understanding your audience and creating your commercials with them in mind. We’ll spend time discussing demographics and how critical they are in targeting your audience. We won’t be in class on Thursday as you press on to the final couple of weeks. See you in class!
