Let’s spend some time thinking about social computing and exploring why it is so important. From last week, you’ve started reading the Cluetrain Manifesto so you should have a sense of why the conversation is such an important piece to the puzzle. Let’s dig in further to the social space and see where it leads us. This week also marks the beginning of user generated content. Time Magazine named “you” as the Person of the Year for 2006 so there is something there — that and google bought youtube.com for 1.65 billion dollars … knowing that youtube doesn’t actually make any content themselves makes this very interesting.
