I’ve switched back full time to Gmail and love it. The one thing I notice is how boring it is to only have to really run a browser … Gmail, Docs, and nearly everything I use lives there. Boring.
I can come over to your office and “encrypt” the hell out of it if you like. It was definitely not boring when it happened to me and I couldn’t access my stuff.
Yeah, your story and my inability to get email on an old machine quickly has taken me back to the land of gmail. I love it! I did turn off google notifier though to help me focus less on mail and more on getting things done.
