Just got this email:

I shipped your wii last night. Expected delivery date – Friday Feb 2. It’s going to get to you in 2 days anyway so I chose to send regular ground to save you the extra shipping cost. Thanks”

All I can say is that I am excited.

    when you get it, make Mii’s for your family. they can have out on the network with ours.

    Cole, yeah we can set each other up as friends. There’s not much you can do now other than send Miis and pictures between the consoles. My understanding is that when the online games start rolling out, that number will basically be like the screen name you use to identify other players. Let me know how you like the system! I feel bad, I haven’t really touched it in about a month, and there are kids starving in China who would love to play it.
